Nomenclature
- “Investing” in bitcoin is a fiat mentality. “When are you going to sell your bitcoin?” = You don’t understand bitcoin
- Bitcoin is money: If bitcoin is money, then obtaining money and holding onto it is not “investing”. It’s simply saving.
- Denominating life in bitcoin: the cost of living for fiat holders goes up every year. The cost of living for bitcoiners goes down every year. You get to choose.
The Rules:
- DCA (dollar cost average) bitcoin, self-custodied in cold storage.
- Avoid shiny objects (just bitcoin)
- Don’t check the price (stay emotionally healthy via selective ignorance)
- Don’t read the news
Remember:
- The cost of living goes up every year for fiat holders
- The cost of living goes down every year (on average) for bitcoiners (when denominating the world in bitcoin)
- Don’t call it “investing” in bitcoin. Bitcoin is money. So it’s “saving” in bitcoin.
